Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 4, 2025
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Anchor & Alloy LLC (“Anchor & Alloy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, booking tools, SMS communications, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
This Policy is available at https://anchorandalloy.com/privacy-policy .
This Policy applies to information we collect about visitors to our website, our customers, and other users of the Services. Anchor & Alloy acts as a “controller” when we decide how and why to process personal information for our own business purposes. When we process information solely on behalf of a business client, we act as a “processor” and handle that information in accordance with our agreement with that client.
A. Contact & Account Information — Name, business name, role/title, email address, phone number, mailing address, login details, and communication preferences.
B. Billing & Transaction Information — Billing name and address, limited payment or transaction details (such as billing amounts and last 4 digits of card numbers). We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our providers (e.g., Stripe).
C. Business Content & Data (“Data”) — Content you or your users upload or create, such as logos, copy, website text, booking/job details, and message templates, plus contact records you manage inside the Services.
D. Device, Log & Usage Information — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, features used, referring URLs, timestamps, and log data related to authentication and security.
E. Analytics & Cookies — Data collected via cookies and similar technologies to understand how the Services are used and to improve performance and user experience.
F. Communications & Support — Information you provide when you contact us, such as support requests, call or chat logs, and feedback.
G. Information from Service Providers & Other Sources — Information from service providers, partners, or publicly available sources, for example to help prevent fraud, set up accounts, or improve our Services.
H. Mobile & SMS-Related Information — If you opt in to receive SMS messages, we may collect mobile numbers, message logs, and related metadata necessary to provide text messaging Services. We treat this information with additional care as described in Section 5.
When we act as a processor for a business customer, we process information only according to that customer’s instructions and our agreement with them.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request), our legitimate interests (for security, improvement, and communication), your consent where required (for certain marketing or cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
If you opt in, we may send you SMS messages related to your account, bookings, reminders, and — where you consent — occasional promotional messages.
Program Name & Description. Our SMS program may be referred to as “Anchor & Alloy Service Alerts.” This program provides service and appointment updates, booking confirmations and reminders, operational notifications, and occasional promotional messages related to Anchor & Alloy’s services.
Opt-Out Instructions. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the number from which you are receiving messages. After you send “STOP,” we will send you a confirmation SMS. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us for that program.
Rejoining Instructions. To rejoin after opting out, sign up again as you did initially (for example, by submitting a form or selecting an opt-in box). We will then resume sending SMS messages to you.
Help Instructions. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or +1 929 734 8361.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message & Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and for messages you send to us. Message frequency may vary. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
Mobile Information and Sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text message services that are necessary to deliver SMS messages.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools. Some cookies are essential; if you disable them, some features may not function properly. For interest-based advertising, you may be able to use industry tools such as those available at www.aboutads.info.
Where we detect a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and are required to do so by applicable law, we treat that signal as a request to opt out of certain data uses (such as “sale” or “sharing” as defined by those laws) for that browser.
We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose personal information in the following ways:
Important SMS Disclaimer. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services that we use solely to deliver SMS messages.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Backups and logs may be retained for a limited period for security and reliability.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information (for example, encryption in transit, access controls, and periodic review of our systems and practices). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are based in the United States and information we collect may be processed and stored there or in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as: access to personal information we hold about you; correction of inaccurate information; deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions; objection to or restriction of certain processing; and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws. You can contact us using the details in the Contact section to exercise any available state-specific rights.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
If we provide blogs, forums, or similar features, any information you post may be publicly accessible and can be read, collected, and used by others. Please use caution when sharing information in public areas.
We maintain processes to identify and respond to potential security incidents. If we become aware of a breach affecting personal information, we will investigate and notify affected individuals and/or regulators as required by law.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on our website and may also notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
